Meet The Founder
Ranhee Joo
Meet Ranhee Joo, an award-winning product designer based in New York. With a 18-year career, she has been instrumental in developing successful product lines within the juvenile product category and has collaborated with numerous thriving startups. Currently serving as a senior design director specializing in children's products, Ranhee's expertise shines.
In her past role as the design director at Skip Hop, now under the ownership of Carter’s, she was entrusted with overseeing the company’s softgoods and hardgoods from concept to production. Notably, Ranhee was the creative force behind the well-known “Zoo” toddler line and toy collection. Holding a BFA in Industrial Design from the Rhode Island School of Design, she is well-versed in trend-spotting, always on the lookout for white space in the market and the next big idea.
The product originates from the creator's personal experience as a mother of two and a creative individual. Faced with the challenge of finding suitable ways to display, organize, and archive her children's school artwork, she grappled with the common issues of limited space, lack of organization, and the absence of damage-proof archiving. Driven by the emotional struggle of "mom guilt" and having unsuccessfully tried various market options, she decided to leverage her skills and industry expertise to design a solution. The result is a frame that addresses the three pain points of displaying, organizing, and archiving children's artwork seamlessly.
